City Sculpting is a creative visual arts children’s program with a specialized focus on sculpture. This summer the program will run out of two venues, one NEW venue in Green Point Brooklyn at the Dobbin Mews Center located at 50-52 Dobbin Street between Nassau and Norman Aves and a second in Manhattan at the Sixth Street Community Center which is located at 638 East 6th Street btw Ave B and C in the East Village

Children explore a range of sculptural techniques including Life Casting, Clay Sculpting, Mold Making, Paper Mache, Wire Fabrication, sculptural building using found objects, and Mosaics. Apart from Sculptural projects children will also explore their creativity using all forms of art techniques such as drawing and painting and collage.

Children sign up on a weekly basis, and there is an EARLY BIRD special open for the Summer or Break programs. Sign up 30 days before a Break program and you will get the discounted weekly rate of $425. The Early Bird Summer SPECIAL ends on June 15th 2012. Our regular weekly rate is $525, materials included.

The program runs from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Extended days are offered at both venues, pricing will vary according to numbers.

Children bring their own lunch that we refrigerate. Lunch will be picnic style at a local park, accompanied by outdoor play. City Sculpting supplies a healthy morning snack.
