One simple letter has driven me into the depths of bureaucracy ! Someone, and by someone I mean the f%$king human who typed my daughters birth certificate, made a typo. A simple error, no big deal, that in the real world can be fixed in an instant. But not in the state of New York, oh no!
In the state of New York you must jump through hoop after hoop only to correct what should have been done correctly the first time around. My name is spelled correctly, my husbands name is spelled correctly, but my daughters is missing a T !!! A simple T has forced us into waiting in line at the social security office, sending in copies of our passports, etc. So this letter is to the state of New York's vital records department.
