Services and Classes

 Handy

Rent a husband or a handyman:

The perfect gift for a single mom or a mom whose spouse just is not very handy. Rates are $40 for the first half hour, then $60 per hour thereafter + Job and Materials. Prices are given on an hourly basis rather than per job with a one & half hour minimum charge. Phone estimates are always free.

Maid for a day:

What mom couldn’t use a day off? Let these little elves come right  in and clean house. . .

Knitting / Crochet Classes:

212-243-9070, 34 West 15th Street, New York, New York

Knitting is the new yoga. It’s a great stress reliever and when you finish a project you have the perfect gift for someone handmade with love from you. Classes are $50 for a 2 week session and all materials are included.

Family Time Together:

Plan a day out or better yet, an evening in all together. Give mom the night off by cooking dinner or ordering takeout. Play games and tell stories. The best gift of all really, is being together, enjoying each other and making memories.

Charity:

 Mayan mom

Newborn Delivery:

From one mother to another, give the gift of a safe delivery to a pregnant Mayan mother. Your donation of $500 will ensure complete pre- and postnatal care, as well as all meals and lodging.

Help a Third-World Family:

Help a third-world family this holiday season by donating a goat ($120) that will provide both nutrition and income, a beautiful and lasting gift.

Dar Give a Stove to a Woman in Darfur:

Give a displaced woman in Darfur the means to feed her family by purchasing a stove for her for a small donation of $30. It'll make a world of difference to her and her family.

Small Business Loan for 5 Women:

Give a new life to five impoverished women with small loans they can use to start or expand a business — the income from which can help feed, clothe, and educate their children. As loans are repaid, the funds are used to provide new loans to others. Your gift today can be recycled to literally hundreds of women in years to come!
