Once a month the Veolker
Orth Museum in Jamaica hosts a storybook and discovery activity for young
children(6 and under). Elizabeth Orth, who established the museum, was a
teacher and had a special interest in collecting children’s books, appreciating
the worlds they could open.

Mother Goose Story
Times at the Jamaica Library
On Wednesdays at 10:15am this program features nursery
rhymes, finger plays centered around this classic kids book. For babies 18
months to 2 1/2 years accompanied by their caregiver. A one time
preregistration is required so call the Library for more information.
