The very first time a young Catholic receives the body of
Christ, First Holy Communion is a day to be prepared for and celebrated.
Besides the traditional white dress, a headpiece is commonly worn when a young
lady makes her First Communion. The Queens Botanical Garden is holding a
workshop where mothers can create a headpiece for their own little one.
Thursday, March 25, 2010 from 6:30pm
