celebrate MMNY here in Queens.

“ 11 in the morning to 10 at night, musicians of all
ages, creeds, and musical persuasions — from hip
Make music ny 1 hop to opera, Latin jazz to
punk rock — perform on streets, sidewalks, stoops, plazas, cemeteries, parks
and gardens. From high school bands to marquee names, Make Music NY is open to
anyone who wants to take part, enjoyed by everyone who wants to attend.”

Our top pick to watch some free musical expression is in
Astoria Park where there will be performances from 4:30pm to 8pm. We suggest
you bring a blanket, a picnic dinner, and chill into the evening to some good
tunes. There will also be music happening in Astoria at SITE, Athens Park,
Bareburger, Brick Café and more.

Make music ny 3 Gantry State Park in Long Island City will be hosting
music from 5pm-9pm. Juniper Valley Park in Middle Village will have music from
7:15pm to 8:30pm, and Queens Crossing  in
Flushing will also have its share of entertainment. For more details on where
you can see free public music check out the MMNY’s site at www.makemusicny.org
