Mommy & Me Classes in Fresh Meadows at My Gym Children’s Fitness Center

My gym If you’re looking for a high energy, mommy/daddy and me class designed to keep kids active, look no further. My Gym Children’s Fitness Center has locations worldwide, one of which is located at 176-60 Union Turnpike, on the 3rd floor, in Fresh Meadows, is the place to go. By becoming a member, you’ll have access to amazing classes with your child, and you’ll also be supporting a great organization.

The My Gym Challenged America Foundation, founded by actor Randy Bertisch after he fought to recover his mobility, which he lost as a result of a devastating car accident left him in a coma for months, is the nonprofit partner to the My Gym Fitness Centers. The Foundation is dedicated to providing a welcoming and fun environment for children, especially those who may be developmentally challenged, underprivileged, or at risk. They also offer scholarships for those families in need who cannot afford to have their children attend the classes for therapeutic or developmental purposes.

The goal of the My Gym classes is to put emphasis on the importance of a healthy, active lifestyle for kids of all ages. With each class divided into specific age ranges, the activities in each class are designed particularly with that age group in mind. For example, the gymsters class is for kids between the ages of 2 and 2 ½. The activities in this class include monkey bars, an indoor zip line, ball pit, and even swings. The qualified instructors focus on one particular gymnastics move per class, like a forward roll. They offer parent and me classes for kids anywhere from 6 weeks to 3 years old, and for kids 3 years old to 12 years old, they offer drop off classes. Chances are they have a great class waiting for your kids to participate in.

My Gym also has times for free play, when you can bring your kids to play without the structure of an actual class. In addition, they also offer three different birthday party options. If you’re still not sold on giving My Gym a try, they also have a free trial class to help you make up your mind.
