Largest Menorah in Queens
The Northeast Queens Jewish Community Council sponsors what’s probably the largest Hanukkah menorah in the borough. This year there’s a lighting at the Chabad of Eastern Queens as well as at Bay Terrace mall. The celebration at the mall includes live music and dancing, latkes, raffle, and even a fire juggling juggler.

Grand Chanukah Public Menorah Lighting in Rego Park
Public lighting of menorah on corner of Queens Blvd and 67th Rd. 5:30 pm There will be music and free latkes and donuts for all. All children will receive a Hanukkah gift. Hosted by Chabad of Rego Park.

Chanukah Wonderland – Rego Park
Queens Jewish Center – 6605 108th St. noon-4pm. Come for free music, dancing, food, gifts for children and pictures with Judah the Maccabi. There will be crafts (small fee). Hosted by Chabad of Rego Park.

Chanukah Party in Astoria
Astoria Center of Israel, 27-35 Crescent St, Astoria, NY, 11102, 718-2378-2680. 3 pm. $10/$12; $5 children 5-10; children under 5 free Hot , menorah lighting, face-painting, and games at Astoria Center of Israel.

Chanukah Festival and Teen Camp Reunion
Central Queens YM , 67-09 108th Street, Forest Hills, NY 11375. 1-3 pm. $5 for kids, discounts for members and children registered for summer camps Storyteller Robin Brady performs Chanukah stories at the Central Queens Y. There will also be electronic dance machines, face painting, Dreidelmania, a holiday art project, and ping pong.

Spectacular Chanukah Mad Science
Congregation Machane Chodosh, 67-29 108th St, Forest Hills, 718-793-5656. 6 pm, $5 Congregation Machane Chodosh sponsors a Spectacular Chanukah Mad Science show for children ages 6 and up. Mad Science features Fire & Ice. There’s a Menorah lighting prior to the show.

Hanukkah Performance at Flushing Town Hall
Alicia Svigals Trio, A Klezmer Hanukkah Party. Flushing Town Hall, 137-35 Northern Blvd, Flushing, 718-463-7700. Yiddish and folk music from Eastern Europe performed by klezmer violinist Alicia Svigals, with Yiddish chanteuse/storyteller Adrienne Cooper, and accordionist Patrick Farrell.
