Entertaining Kids this Summer in Queens

School is out and long, hot days are here. For those of us with tweens and teens who are staying local this summer, here are 5 suggestions on how to beat the restlessness and the ever-present, slightly annoying, question, “What are we going to do today?” All right here, in and around Forest Hills.

Art in the Park

The Alliance of Queens Artists in Forest Hills hosts weekly Friday afternoon art classes in the recently replanted MacDonald Park. The alliance also runs children’s art classes at their indoor location at 99-10 Metropolitan Ave. All ages welcomed.
