Taste of Sunnyside: Go on a Culinary World Tour

Get your taste buds ready. On Tuesday, October 18th, from 5:30pm – 9:00pm, the Sunnyside Chamber of Commerce and Sunnyside Shines Business Improvement District will be hosting the 2nd annual Taste of Sunnyside. It’s like a food crawl, but instead of restaurant hopping, the restaurants are brought to you.

The restaurants you know and love, and the ones you’ve been meaning to try, will be presenting their best dishes for your approval at the Sunnyside Community Services ground floor Ballroom, located at 43-31 39th Street, just off Queens Boulevard.

Sunnyside being the culinary melting pot that it is, you’ll be able to feast on dishes from Japanese, Mexican, Italian, Thai, Filipino, Irish, and American Eclectic neighborhood restaurants. Wine and beer will also be served.

Since the first Taste of Sunnyside was so incredibly popular, they have decided to hold two seatings, one from 5:30pm – 7:00pm, and the second from 7:30pm – 9:00pm. Tickets are only $25 per person. When you think about what a normal dinner out costs, that’s a great deal for all that you’re getting.

Tickets are expected to sell out, so book your babysitter and buy your tickets in advance. You can purchase tickets on their website, or at the Sunnyside Shines office, located at 45-56 43rd Street, between 47th Avenue and Queens Blvd. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
