Reception & Screening of Arthur Christmas, Plus a Mamas Ticket Discount

This Saturday, November 19th, the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria will be hosting a special reception and screening of the new movie Arthur Christmas in 3D.

A holiday movie from the Aardman animation studio, Arthur Christmas reveals the incredible, never-before-seen answer to every child’s question: “How does Santa deliver all those presents in one night?” The answer: Santa’s ultra-high-tech operation hidden beneath the North Pole. But at the heart of the film is a story with the ingredients of a Christmas classic—a family in a state of comic dysfunction and an unlikely hero: Santa’s youngest son, Arthur.

At 10:00am, you can enjoy cookies and holiday drinks at the reception in the Museum’s cafe. The screening will begin at 11:00am. The film is appropriate for kids 8 and up.

Tickets: $15 public / $10 Museum members / Free for Silver Screen and Red Carpet Kids members.

The museum is offering Mamas readers discounted tickets: $10 per ticket. That includes the reception, the 3D screening, and admission to the Museum. Call (718) 777-6800 and mention the words: “Mamas Network”  to get the discounted tickets, or use code momiartxmas to order your tickets online.
