Four Holiday Performances of The Nutcracker in Queens

With the holiday season upon us, take some time out from the hustle and bustle to enjoy a live performance of the classic ballet, The Nutcracker, right here in Queens.  If this hasn’t become one of your family traditions yet, now’s the time to start because Queens Mamas has rounded up the best local performances.

So, get ready to be enchanted and delighted by the story of Clara and her Nutcracker Prince set to Tchaikovsky’s score, with dazzling costumes and dancing.  Best of all, the family-friendly prices will make your dreams of sugar-plum fairies a reality.

Brighton Ballet Theater and the School of Russian American Ballet bring their unique version of The Nutcracker to Queens College.  This special performance by dancers trained in the Russian Method features both full acts of the original ballet, but varies by presenting dances that represent the cultural diversity of New York.  Perfect for a Queens audience of all ages, this family friendly show culminates in the Land of Freedom rather than the Land of Sweets.
