Whether looking for a weekend independent activity for kids, or something to share after school, The Potter’s Wheel provides the perfect environment to focus on the art of creating something from nothing and encourages kids to work with their hands. From learning the fundamentals of the wheel to creating beautiful plates, bowls and sculptures, there is something new to discover each week.

Kids classes, designed to encourage creativity in a nurturing and social environment, will immerse kids ages 7-12 in weekly and ongoing projects.  A session, made of up seven classes, includes all training, clay, glazes and firing fees.  Classes are held on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. – 11:15 and 11:30 – 12:40 p.m. Classes begin on January 8. Session fee is $210.

And if you are looking for a great family activity, kids and their parents can enjoy the creative experience together by working collaboratively or independently at weekly classes.  For only $10.00 a person, all materials are provided each week, along with expert hands-on assistance, to create and complete a group project.  Classes are held Monday afternoons from 4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
