Annual Kwanzaa Celebration

This annual Kwanaa celebration features something for the whole family including film screenings, storytelling, live music and dramatic performances.  See the full schedule of activities at Queens Library.

Little Waltzers

Come dance, sing and jam with educational rock bad, The Deedle Deedle Dees, as they celebrate the release of their latest album at the family fun sing-a-long spot, Little Waltzers.  Get all the details at Waltz-Astoria.

Snowy Evergreen Banners

Kids ages 7 – 12 are invited to create a beautiful snowy evergreen tree banner, enjoy a walk along the Alley Pond nature trails and enjoy a cup of Hot Cocoa.  Registration is required.  Get further details at APEC.

Hands on History, Snowed in at the Manor

Drop-in at any time during this family event to learn all about how the holidays were celebrated in the 19th century, enjoy stories about winter fun and a create-your-own traditional, scented ornament for the tree.  Learn more at King Manor Museum.

Christmas Eve on Sesame Street Screening

In “Christmas Eve on Sesame Street” Big Bird camps out on his roof to prove to Oscar the Grouch that Santa Claus does, in fact, deliver the presents to every house on Christmas Eve. The Claus Family Christmas Spectacular

Brunch with Santa

The Nutcracker

If You Really Love Polar Bears
