Whether you’re new to the area or just looking for a different way to celebrate, we’ve rounded up a list of Passover Community Seders going on all over Queens, plus a way for you to give those less fortunate a chance to celebrate Passover too.

11th Annual Eva and Lou Friedman Model Passover Seder

When: April 3, 2012, 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm

Communal Passover Seder 2012

When: Friday, April 6 & Saturday, April 7, services at 7:00pm, followed by Seder at 8:15pm

Where: Anshe Sholom Chabad JCC, 82-52 Abingdon Road, Kew Gardens

Price: 1st Seder is $45, 2nd Seder is $36; Children 5+ are $25 (No one is turned away for lack of funds.)


Community Seder, Second night of Passover

When: Saturday, April 7, 7:30 p.m.

Where: Jewish Center of Oak Hills, 50-35 Cloverdale Blvd., Oakland Gardens (Bayside)

Contact: 718-631-0100, Reservations are required, and payment must be made by April 3.

Price: Ranges from $45-50 for adults and $30 for children to age 12.


Congregation Tifereth Israel of Jackson Heights

When: Friday, April 6, 2012 after candle lighting and services; Saturday, April 7, 2012 after candle lighting and services

Passover Food Drive

What: Kosher canned foods and other non-perishables will be accepted for the duration of the food drive.

When: now through April 5, 2012
