Queens foodies are salivating at the thought of Queens Taste 2012 – when restaurants from all over Queens gather at Citi Field to show you the best of their menus. Sounds like a great chance to have a date night!
This will be the tenth taste event held by the Queens Economic Development Corp., and they keep getting better every year. Around 50 restaurants, including wineries, will provide delicious food and drink, from from sweet to savory, Asian to Italian, and everything in between. It’s being held in the Caesar’s Club in Citi Field, so you’ll be surrounded by breathtaking views of the park, the city skyline, and more.
The evening MC will be Steve Hofstetter, comedian and owner of The Laughing Devil comedy club in Long Island City – the only comedy club in Queens. You’ll be sure to have a few good laughs while sampling all the food!
Proceeds from the night will go to benefit the QEDC’s efforts to attract and maintain jobs in the borough through business services, neighborhood development, and more. You’ll be helping to support the economic development of Queens, all while eating some of the finest food it has to offer.
