Men in Black fans will be flocking to the Museum of the Moving Image for their new exhibit featuring props and objects from the popular movies. Aliens and creatures designed by legendary makeup artist Rick Baker for the upcoming film Men in Black™ 3 are on exhibit through September 23, 2012.
The exhibit, Aliens, Gadgets, and Guns: Designing the World of Men in Black 3, features over 25 objects straight from the world of Men in Black, like Baker’s alien creatures, memory-erasing neuralyzers, alien weapons, a monocycle, and the iconic sunglasses worn by Agents J and K, plus behind-the-scenes footage of Baker creating special effect makeup. The exhibit will be located in the Museum’s core exhibition Behind the Screen, and will be accompanied by screenings and personal appearances in the Museum’s main theater, like a preview screening of Men in Black 3 and conversation with Rick Baker on May 24th at 8pm.
The screening is a chance for fans to see the movie the day before it’s released in theaters nationwide, plus you can participate in the discussion afterwards with Rick Baker himself. Tickets for this screening are $20 for adults, $12 for Museum members, and free for Silver Screen members and above. You can order your tickets online or call 718 777 6800 to reserve them.
