I have spent most of my life in Queens. Not because I had no other place to go, or no means to move, but because I truly believe that this area is like no other in the world. Steinway Street and Flushing can transport you to a totally different country without even leaving the borough. Neighborhoods in Queens have an old world charm where it is still ok to know your neighbor and local shop owner.
