As much as it is a lot of work, Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. I’m always searching for new recipes to make, and when I came across this bourbon cranberry sauce recipe by Stephanie Rose, two words came to mind: yes, please.
Typical cranberry sauce has never been my thing. It’s always included at the table, but usually in the form of a gelatinous blob that came from a can. This totally blows the lid off of traditional cranberry sauce – and it’s super easy too. It also makes a great hostess gift, if you’re heading to someone else’s house to celebrate. If you make it this holiday season, let us know how it turned out!
Here’s what you’ll need:
- 6 cups cranberries
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 1/2 cup bourbon
