Time Warner Cable is launching its first-ever “Holiday Hopes & Happenings” food drive, a month-long effort to help families in need this holiday season throughout the NYC area. During the drive, they will collect non-perishable goods which will benefit local families through its holiday partners, Food Bank For New York City and City Harvest.
“Our holiday campaign couldn’t come at a more critical time when many families are in need, given the devastation that Hurricane Sandy left behind,” said John Quigley, Time Warner Cable’s Regional Vice President of Operations for NYC. “In partnership with the Food Bank For New York City and City Harvest, Time Warner Cable is collecting non-perishable goods at several of our stores to help New Yorkers. Thanks to the joint efforts of our employees, customers, clients and the public, this food drive will help make the holidays a little brighter for children and families across the NYC area.”
You can participate by dropping off non-perishable goods at select Time Warner Cable stores and Time Warner Cable Media partner locations including:
- Queens: The Time Warner Cable store located inside the Queens Center Mall (90-15 Queens Blvd) and Hillside Honda at 139-07 Hillside Avenue in Jamaica.
- Staten Island: The Time Warner Cable store located at 2845 Richmond Avenue.
