HUBLEY FEST: ANIMATION FOR THE HOLIDAYS
Renowned animator Emily Hubley, whose credits include Hedwig and the Angry Inch and her debut feature The Toe Tactic, which premiered at MoMA in 2009, curates a festive and celebratory selection of vintage films from her parents John and Faith Hubley’s groundbreaking Hubley Studio alongside her own inimitable work. New York Classical Theatre returns to the World Financial Center with A (15-Minute!) Christmas Carol, a rollicking holiday chestnut that will brighten the lunch break. This fifteen-minute holiday tale of love and redemption will serve up Scrooge, Marley, Cratchit, Fezziwig, Tiny Tim, and all of Dickens’ best-loved characters, performed in record time with just two actors!

Christmas in Ireland: An Nollaig in Éirinn
The acclaimed Irish ensemble Danú returns to the Winter Garden with a glorious celebration of Christmas from their homeland. Celtic music lovers will be thrilled by Danú’s virtuoso musicians and the gorgeous vocals of Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh performing traditional songs in this high-energy holiday event that warms the heart.

TURTLE ISLAND QUARTET
A SOLSTICE CELEBRATION
This joyous voyage through World holiday music commemorates the quartet members’ ancestral roots with a concert showcasing the music associated with what is referred to in both the Jewish and Hindu traditions as the “Festival Of Lights.” From the songs of Chanukah, to the music of India’s Diwali, to the old English carols of the 16th century, Turtle Island Quartet explores the timeless music that has been an integral part of winter holiday celebrations for centuries. The program also features music from Vince Guaraldi’s beloved A Charlie Brown Christmas, as well as revisiting famous classical gems that have become so indelibly tied to the holiday season.
