Moms Against Guns March Planned for MLK Day at City Hall

There is a moms march in the works for MLK Day, Monday January 21 on City Hall. One Million Moms for Gun Control has merged with the Million Mom March group and are waiting on permits for the event.  The march on City Hall will take place on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Jan. 21st. Here are the details:

One Million Moms For Gun Control’s NYC-area chapters are holding a rally on Martin Luther King Jr./Inauguration Day, Jan. 21st.

Inspired by Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.’s message of nonviolence and vision of a better future for our children, we ask you to join us as we show our local, state and federal leaders that we are demanding immediate, meaningful action on common-sense gun control legislation.

This is a family-friendly event.

They will be giving out some signs, but feel free to bring your own! Be creative, but also respectful.

9:15 am: Meet in Cadman Plaza Park in Brooklyn – entrance at corner of Middagh Street and Cadman Plaza West (A, C to High Street; 2, 3 to Clark Street)
