There will be Bouncies, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, Rock wall, and all the usual carnival amenities. This a carnival to support the school.

Cost: Children over 3 need a wristband for $15 to enter/ Under 3 are free but cannot ride on the rides.

Go Green! Greenpoint: Brooklyn Nabe’s Earth Day Celebration

Because of the weather, this event was rescheduled for this weekend. There will be a Greencycle swap station, eco-friendly goods for sale, and a plethora of children’s activities and arts-and-crafts projects.

Prospect Park Sheep Shearing Festival

Celebrate Spring this weekend at the Prospect Park Zoo’s annual Sheep Shearing event! The Fleece Festival is a must see for families and includes awesome activities all weekend long. Plus- you’ll get to see the two newest members of the zoo family: two baby doll lambs named Arthur and Brooklyn!

Queen of Colors

The Queen of Colors is an award-winning story about unleashing creativity and choosing not to “color within the lines.” Based on the children’s book by German author Jutta Bauer and accompanied by a “Court Musician,” this performance offers ingenious puppetry and live illustrations by the Company Les Voisins that literally jump off the page

The Little Secret Theater presents Dotty Dot!

A Musical: Another hidden gem in LIC.  Every Saturday at 2pm the theater puts on a performance for kids.

2nd Annual Rockaway Bike Parade: The parade is done to promote human powered transportation! Parade participants are encouraged to wear something fun, goofy or ridiculous as they bike or walk their way along the parade route with bikes, skates, skateboards, or “people” powered carts, or vehicles. We encourage individuals as well as school groups, and organizations to join in the fun

Lil Makers Bath Paints

This is part of a series of programs where families and kids create and tinker together. Mix up your own batch of washable paints to make bath time fun in this drop-in workshop. Recommended for children ages 18 months and older.
