Friday Date Night Highlight: Flushing Dinner and Jazz
Trumpeters of Queens
What do Louis Armstrong, Dizzy Gillespie, Clark Terry and Cootie Williams all have in common? They are all musical innovators that once called Queens their home. The very first Trumpeters of Queens show brings a jazz concert featuring local residents of Queens to the stage of Flushing Town Hall. Performer Josh Deutsch brings a set of original music for his energetic quintet, and special Guests Michael Rodriguez & Irving Grossman will also be featured. Flushing Town Hall is one of Queens’ best kept secrets in our opinion so get your tickets soon and be on the inside track of Queens’ secret music scene.
