Mother’s Day Fun and Plant Sale at the Queens Botanical Garden
Sunday, May 11, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Let mom relax in the Arboretum, join a Garden tour at 2 p.m., and peruse the Plant Sale. From 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., kids can make a special craft for mom at the Children’s Activity Table (while supplies last). Free with Garden admission.

Socrates Sculpture Park Spring Opening
Sunday, May 11, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.
Pack a picnic lunch for Mom and head to the riverside park with gorgeous Manhattan views as it unveils four new works during its free spring opening. Then you could hop on the new free LIC Art Bus and head to SculptureCenter and MoMAPS1 for more immersion in art and culture.

Spa Castle, 6 a.m. to midnight
Give mom a day of pampering at Spa Castle in College Point. The $40 entrance fee gives unlimited access to its saunas, spa pods, baths, and lounge areas. You can also purchase additional massages and treatments.

Brunch or Dinner at Water’s Edge
Treat mama to a delicious meal at this upscale restaurant overlooking the East River. MOMIX at Queens Theatre
