September is National Honey Month and you can celebrate it by checking out NYC Honey Week going on now. The event is a weeklong, festival celebrating the honeybee, with events, tastings and demonstrations throughout the city. From beekeeping classes to honey-themed dinners, apiary tours to honey tastings, cooking classes to kids’ workshops, the festival NYC Honey Week ends in a daylong at Rockaway Boardwalk on Saturday, September 13. The festival is a free, family-friendly event featuring art, food, music, kids’ arts and crafts, and a Bee Marketplace. Here are a few family friendly events to enjoy during this celebration of honey in NYC.
